We at Visual Perspective just released an open source, web-based, remote sensing viewer (https://iceland.visualperspective.io/). With this viewer, you can explore Iceland’s vegetation over space and time. There is an accompanying blog post which goes over Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) and how to use the viewer (https://visualperspective.io/blog/iceland-ndvi-viewer).

We would enjoy hearing your feedback!

Alternatively, you can view satellite imagery of Iceland and analyze it with ease via LandViewer. There thousands of fresh images available for viewing and download from dozens of satellites.
In addition, There are already ready-made tools for obtaining multispectral indices, flexible processing of data on AOI, elementary clustering, using a raster calculator, visualization of scenes in 3D using digital elevation models, changes in territories based on multi-temporal multispectral analysis, as well as creating ready-made animations of changes in terrain.
An example of such imagery can be seen here.
